horse fable

A man once saw a horse which was tied loosely to a small chair but was doing nothing to break free from it. When he asked the owner, why such a powerful creature like that never tried to free itself, the owner said, ” When the horse is very young and much smaller we use the same small size rope to tie them and, at that age, it’s enough to hold them. Sure, they will try to break free, but soon learn they are unable to. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free again.”

Failure is part of learning; we should never give up if we are caught in a struggle. What once held us back is a stepping stone to setting us free.

Think about it!!!
